Community Aged Care Packages or ‘CACP’ is a service funded by the Commonwealth Government and designed to assist you to live at home independently, with confidence and support. A CACP provides individually planned and coordinated packages of care. Services available include personal care, basic housekeeping, transportation, meal preparation, shopping and socialisation. Other packages are available for special needs groups such as veterans, dementia, multicultural and public housing.

ARV Community Services will develop a plan and deliver services based on your assessed needs. To be eligible to receive a care package, you must be assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) who can help you access the services most appropriate to your needs. To find out your nearest ACAT visit agedcareaustralia.gov.au or call 1800 200 422.
