Woodberry’s low level care, assisted living facilities are located within the peaceful surrounds of the village grounds. This friendly community, with its landscaped gardens commands lovely views across to the city.

There’s lots to do here with a community room and kiosk providing a place to catch up with friends and neighbours. There’s also a library, hairdresser, Chapel and Church Services as well as a village bus.

Residents enjoy a range of services provided in spacious, hostel-style single rooms with private en suites. Assistance is available for showering, dressing, medication supervision, nursing care and personal care needs, indeed staff are there 24 hours a day. All laundry services and meals, including specific dietary requirements are taken care of and emergency call buttons are provided in every room and bathroom.

ARV’s person-centred approach to assisted living aims to support and promote your independence. A diversional therapist is on site to facilitate a range of enjoyable activities.

To be eligible for accommodation, all potential residents must be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and be deemed to be in need of assisted living care. While care can be provided to those with low level dementia, for the more advanced behaviours there are more suitable dementia specific units within the ARV village community that can provide optimum levels of attention.
