ARV provides a broad range of accommodation options with varying levels of assistance, depending on your particular needs. Sometimes referred to as Hostels or Residential Aged Care Facilities, our Low Care Assisted Living communities provide support services to meet residents' social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs.
We can help you with daily activities such as showering and dressing, personal care, medication and mobility. All meals and laundry services are provided by staff who are available 24 hours a day. Call buttons are provided in bedrooms and bathrooms.
Every village has a wide range of enjoyable activities that include outings, craft groups, exercise sessions and concerts. Village facilities include dining rooms, lounges, libraries, hairdressers, chapels, kiosks, community and recreational rooms.
Care can also be provided to those with low level dementia, although for the more advanced behaviours there are more suitable special care units within the ARV village community.
To be eligible for Assisted Living accommodation you must be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and be deemed to require this level of care.
