Our nursing homes offer a high level of care for those who are extremely frail. Qualified nursing staff are available 24 hours a day. Through diversional therapy programs, residents participate in exercises, games, discussions and fellowship activities.

Entry Process

Eligibility for entry into all of our Residential Aged Care facilities is determined by the Village Manager, following assessment by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), who can be contacted through most public hospitals. A current Aged Care Client Record (form 3020) is required by all those applying for care and accommodation. You must be assessed by ACAT and be deemed to require this level of care in order to be eligible for accommodation.

To apply for accommodation in one of our Nursing Homes you should complete our application form from the Nursing home or our Sales &Marketing team. This form should be returned to one of our five Nursing Homes listed below along with a copy of the Aged Care Assessment. Entry into the Nursing Home is subject to availability and based on the care needs of the individual.

If you are applying for concessional or assisted residence, you must send in a completed 'Request for Asset Assessment' form to Centrelink or Department of Veteran Affairs before applying for accommodation. Once you receive confirmation of acceptance as a concessional or assisted resident, you should then send your application form and copy of the ACCR to our Sales and Marketing team.

Financial Details

All high care applicants are assessed as to their ability to make a contribution to the cost of their accommodation. This contribution is in the form of an Accommodation Charge levied in line with prevailing legislation. The charge ranges up to $26.88 per day, and is paid until a resident leaves the facility.
