ARV provides the opportunity and support for people at all levels to develop their careers
Support ranges from ARV’s Learning and Development team who train people in a variety of work place skills to scholarship programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Below are the stories of four people with different job functions that have progressed their career after joining ARV.

Lauren
Lauren works as a Carer with ARV and is studying to be a Registered Nurse with the assistance of an ARV scholarship, after which she wants to be the Care Manager.

Mark
Mark previously worked for the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency. He has specialised in acute aged care nursing, community nursing and has management and education experience. Recently, Mark successfully nominated ARV for 'Employer of Choice.'

Tracy & Elsie
Tracy & Elsie both worked in Aged Care prior to joining ARV. Starting as Carers both have had a couple of different roles and now run Jobmatch, a pool of casual Carers and RNs.

Beginning as Projects Manager at ARV in 2002, Peter is now GM, Property. At ARV, Peter has witnessed the enormous scope for
property development, architecture, facilities, maintenance, legal,
administration and finance.
