ARV Personal Care Services

ARV Personal Care Services (PCS) provides high levels of care and support exclusively for those residents living in ARV village who may like some need help at home. We tailor our services to your needs, allowing you to maintain your independence. All ARV Personal Care Services are delivered by trained and caring ARV staff, and are available on a regular or occasional basis - it's up to you. PCS can be booked in 15 minute intervals. We offer a range of services available seven days a week at competitive prices.

Personal Care

Personal hygiene including showering and dressing, continence management, bed, bath, and after hospital care.

Medication

Prompting from Webster-pak® and medication supervision.

Domestic Services

Around the home services include making the beds, changing linen, laundry, ironing and help settling in.

Shopping

Shopping trips including groceries, bill payments and banking.

Transport

Assistance with transport including shopping, appointments and activities.

In-Home Respite

Relief for carers including in-home care while carers are on holidays.

Meal Preparation

Attendance at Group Activities

Cleaning Services

Housekeeping services including:

  • Floors throughout your home
  • Bathroom and kitchen, including cupboards
  • Dusting, wiping and polishing
  • Removal of rubbish
  • Cleaning of the fridge, oven, microwave and stove

 Fees

Personal Care: including in home respite, assistance with showering and dressing, paying bills, cooking and meal preparation, assistance an transport when attending appointments, social activities and shopping etc $33 per hour
 

Monday to Friday

7am to 6pm $33 per hour
6pm to 9pm $37 per hour
Saturday (all day) $50 per hour
Sunday (all day) $58 per hour
Public Holiday $83 per hour

Travel $1 per kilometre - This rate is for travel relating to the care service e.g. Shopping
Cleaning - Monday to Friday only $28 per hour

All prices are GST inclusive.

Services can be arranged in 15 or 30 minute sessions and/or combined with other residents for activities such as accompanying people on a walk, shopping or transport etc, if appropriate.
